A: A folder is a regular container of files. A smart folder is basically a filter. It looks like a folder in the folders tree but it shows files based on the rules you set. For example you might want to show all the JPG files, greater than 1000x1000 pixels, having a specific tag.

Hi Thomas. Amazing support of Q&A. Thank you.

So it is always better to have smart folders, since Smart Folders can also handle everything a regular folder can. Is this correct?

I saw in the comment that I could edit SVG file?

Thomas. Do you have a feature to make favicon?

Well, smart folders can be useful but you cannot drag files into them. They are basically just filters. So if you need to organize your files in folders and subfolders it's better to use the regular folders. I'm sorry, we don't have a favicon generator, but we might add it in the future. And yes, we have a svg editor. Right now it's limited though, it allows you to change colors. You cannot edit paths, shapes, etc.
