I'm very organized with my files. I have probably 4TB of backups, downloads, PDFs, guides, customer's images, graphics, templates, music, videos, you get it. So it's becoming a pain to keep track and find things, even though I have them categorized pretty well. Just last week I said "I need to go through all these and start deleting stuff and see all the duplicates and graphics, fonts, images I really don't need or won't use". To my surprise 2 days later I saw "MediaPlace". There were only like 3 questions, and no reviews, I was busy at the time, so I came later and purchased it. Tried it right away (I was so excited). 🥳

I'm 101% with mxcrml. This was the fastest purchase I made, and also the fastest to refund. Besides all the points mxcrml already mentioned, also your files get renamed. If you use this, your very well organized files will be duplicated and renamed, creating a real chaos.

Like I mentioned in my refund (and also by others in other reviews), it's not suitable for the professional that has massive amounts of media files because of the space and time you have to dedicate to use it. The feature of "speed", the creator mentions a lot as a reason for the duplication; adds 10 times the time needed to manage the duplication. We have to create a folder to relocate the file, rename it, add tags, and then go to delete the original one. Oh and these files can't be zip files because I think it won't read them.

So, there are layers and layers in relation to the space that we have to sacrifice in order to use the software. Like others, I believe it's great in many things and extras that could make our lives easier, as having 3 free stock images sites in 1 for searches, cloud storage integrations, the image compressor, and the website images and videos scraper from website (very cool), but that outweighs the other time consuming and space issues that it brings.

I might repurchase for ALL the other features that don't have to do with media management but with media processing.
