Glitches in logging in, presentation view, & event registration

ADDITIONS TO MY EARLIER REVIEW (originally 3-star)
I am editing my earlier review since I just did a webinar with almost 40 people registered (ultimately about 16 attended).

Many folks who registered reported issues with logging in. Of these, some made it eventually, others did not.

The one specific report so far that I've gotten was a guest on iPad, who was forced to download an app (not supposed to happen). Once she did this, she received the ongoing message "waiting for the host to respond." But the waiting room had been disabled (by me) from the moment I started the meeting; and I never received a message that anyone was requesting into the meeting.

During this same meeting I used presentation mode for a slide show. I discovered, embarrassingly, that my own video thumbnail disappeared the moment I began showing the slide show — not just for myself, but for participants on the call. So they couldn't see me demonstrating the material. When this was discovered (during the first few minutes of the meeting), I went into the view settings and found no settings which would correct this.

Equally problematic, I was not able to see the participants while I was presenting!

These three items are very basic aspects of functionality for any webinar platform. I am very surprised and disappointed. I will not be able to continue using the platform until these are fixed.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
The platform is mostly very intuitive! Meeting quality has been excellent, the interface is clean, the controls are clear and easy to find, and the login process is fairly smooth and simple. The ability to name label recordings before they are made is fantastic.

I've found three significant challenges so far:

1) The widgets menu (for adding advanced functionality & content to a meeting) is completely opaque to me. I've watched the videos and still have no idea how to add a widget. The widget area shows as empty, whereas there should be sections for Call to Action, Media Sharing, Docs, etc.

2) The event registration is not yet up to minimal standards. The registration page looks beautiful and works well on desktop; however, mobile users are directed to download the app even to REGISTER for an event (e.g. in order to receive event reminders). Sophisticated users can get around this by long-pressing and opening the link in a browser; however, that trick only works on Android. This defeats one of Meetn's selling points, which is not forcing people to download software. There is surely no need to download the software simply to register for an event in the future.

I discovered this major flaw too late. This morning I invited my members to a free webinar and the result was (as far as I can tell) zero registrations.

3) On a related note, the guest list for events is not transparent or easily accessible; it must be downloaded as an Excel file.

The app is promising and I'm using it as my main platform for basic meeting functionality. Hopefully the above limitations can be filled in.

Thanks for the review! Regarding the use of Widgets, we do need to update the video beause it was recorded before we added "widget folders"

For those reading, widgets allow you to pre-load audios, videos, slides, and to create custom popups.

So... To add a widget, click on "Widgets" and then click on "Add Folder" . Then click ON the folder to enter the folder. Then click "Add Widget" to see the list of widgets you can add.

The other items are things we're working on!!!
