Right now I'm using Riverside to record my podcast. Will Melon replace it?
What I need Melon to do is:
1- Being able to record my interviews 1:1 or 1:2 WITHOUT going live.
2- Being able to download the video to edit it.
3- I see this deal covers 10 hours of recording video... are they monthly or one time?
4- Riverside only works on Chrome. Does Melon work from any browser?
5- Does Melon record the screen or get the file that the web cam generates and upload it to the cloud? (like Riverside does)
6- If the 10 hours are monthly based, how much would it be to get more hours if I need them one month?
7- Does Melon have "backstage" feature? So we can have people waiting there while recording intro? Or maybe to have special guests waiting there for they time to be on screen? Would I be able to see them? I mean, like StreamYard does all of this.

May 14, 2024A: Hello! Thank you for all your questions! Let me help with them:
1 - With Melon you are able to record your interviews 1:1 or 1:2 WITHOUT going live;
2 - With Melon you are able to download the video to edit it (as one video track);
3 - 10h record limit goes per 1 session / stream, not monthly;
4 - While Melon works on Chrome, Edge, Firefox = we recommend using Chrome browser;
5 - Melon records screen at the moment - local recordings are not available and they are unique to Riverside;
6- We don't sell additional hours of recording as you're able to create a 10h recording per session;
7- Melon has waiting room like StreamYard as you mentioned - you would be able to see them.

You should see "Record" button next to "Go live" in your studio. Please click on it to start recording and you'll be able to access it later in your broadcast history here: https://melonapp.com/en/settings/broadcasts
