Good for Monetization

I also bought the Flutin Live deal, but wanted to give Melon a try as well. I was initially thinking of refunding Melon after trying it, but I can now say that each has its unique advantages and I will be keeping both. Melon is better for more of the broadcast sorts of applications like streaming gaming or musicians who don't want to be bothered with comments in the middle of a performance. Melon also supports streaming to Twitter which is unique and it provides the better value when you are multicasting to a bunch of different platforms.

Melon uses a PayPal integration through Streamlabs for its monetization. Currently donations are a free feature of Streamlabs, but Streamlabs tries hard to upsell you to a $149/yr service (though they did send me a $99 offer for the first year). I like that I only have to pay PayPal fees for donations (though I need to ensure I am not getting SPAM donations less than $1). I haven't had a chance to actually get user feedback or learn how the monetization actually works, but I think this is fair.

You can also designate Streamlabs to moderate your YouTube / Twitch comments which is nice. Finally, you can tweet that you are going live though I am not sure if the variable can handle multiple simultaneous streaming channels. The monetization options in Streamlabs are VERY comprehensive and can let you have giveaways for your most loyal fans. If I wasn't in so much debt trying to launch my business, I'd probably take them up on their offer.
