after 4 weeks update

update 31.5.2026 : there is a problem with video generation, videos with no inapropriate content get flagged . Since they replied immediately I gave them 5 start but I have to give again 2 stars. no support and video doesn't work.

I have been trying Merlio for 2 weeks now.
What I am having problems with:
- errors in text in images, very often
- errors in video, like visibly ai.
- claude doesn't create docx files which is for me very useful.
- claude is not so efficient as when I use it in the free model.
- google gemini does not make such cool pics here as in the google gemini app.
why ? hmmm
I have contacted support and didn't get a reply yet in a week.
What I like, seems well structured, when the images get done well they are really nice.
If I get the credits back of the non successful generations I would give it a try longer. For now it's frustrating. Grok makes better images in the free model.
I don't like to give less than 5 stars so I hope they fix all I mentioned.
Someone mentioned there are agents as well. Can't wait to try that too.
20.5.2026 Support has reached out so I am starting to test it again with their suggestions.

Quick clarifications:
1. Support delay: sincere apologies. AppSumo's "Contact Merlio" button was populating the wrong email ([email protected], which bounces). Our actual email is [email protected], we flagged it to AppSumo to fix.
2. Text in images / video errors / native app differences: these are mostly inherent limitations of the underlying AI models (rendering, physics, system prompts on native apps). Our new System Instructions feature can help get closer to your preferred output.
3. Credits refund on failed generations: absolutely. DM me your account email, I'll restore the credits and add a bonus for the friction.
