MetaSurvey — Survey, Quiz, Form Reviews

I have tried out a survey and find it very easy to put in the questions and really like the layout, style and user experience for those filling in the questionnaire.

In order to request personal data and remain GDPR compliant, I must obtain consent to the privacy policy. To do this, it is important that participants in my survey are able to view it beforehand. Unfortunately, I have not yet found a way to display these privacy terms before the yes/no consent question. There is no way to link the document in the question, e.g., as a PDF file, or to insert a link that would open a page with the terms and conditions before the respondent answers.

For me, the possible applications of MetaSurvey therefore remain very limited to completely anonymous data for the time being.

This significantly reduces the value of the product for me. I hope that there will soon be an update with a solution to this problem or a working guide for a workaround.

I recently integrated this survey tool into my agency's tech stack, and I have to say, the concept and overall functionality show tremendous promise. The interface is intuitive and the features available are exactly what we need for our client projects.

What really caught my attention was the AI-powered survey generation feature - this could be a real game-changer for streamlining our workflow and creating more targeted surveys quickly. The idea of having AI assist with survey creation aligns perfectly with our agency's goal to leverage automation wherever possible.

However, I'm currently experiencing a frustrating technical issue. Every time I attempt to use the AI survey generation feature, I encounter a "Failed to generate survey" error message. This is particularly disappointing since this was one of the main features that attracted me to the platform in the first place.

I've reached out to their support team for assistance but haven't received a response yet. While I understand that technical issues can arise with any software, timely customer support is crucial, especially when it affects core functionality.

Despite this setback, I'm remaining optimistic about the platform's potential. The non-AI features work well, and I can see how powerful this tool could be once the technical issues are resolved. I'm genuinely looking forward to getting this sorted out with the support team's help, as I believe this could become an essential part of our agency's toolkit.

I'm giving it 4 stars because the overall product concept is solid, but I'd love to see improved technical stability and faster support response times. Once these issues are addressed, this could easily become a 5-star tool for any agency or business looking to streamline their survey processes.

Good to see the issue was figured out and fixed. I tried the AI survey generator again, and it’s running the way it’s supposed to now. The quick turnaround definitely shows the platform is solid on the backend. With everything working smoothly again.

I purchased this product 3 years ago. I found the interface intuitive and easy to connect to Google sheets to sort out data. The feedback I received from respondents that the surveys were quick (less than 1 minute response time on average) and mobile friendly. Bought additional codes to make surveys appear more professional.

Although I built up to Plan 3, the platform limits users to 1 custom domain. I use custom domains for the events I coordinate. It would be nice to have another custom domain slot open (for a total of 2) or an option to purchase additional slot.

Other than that, I'd like to recognize their Customer Support. My experience interacting with the support chat was top-notch. Olivia was responsive, attentive, and patient in helping me understand the system.

I'm excited to see future improvements.

The product has a good AI survey generator. You need to put a specific prompt.

The visuals are like cards, so easy to use and looks good.

Still some work to do for new fonctionalities. But I am happy with the product.

May be something along the lines of having a percentage score (dynamically calculated) would be good if not too much to ask.

I like this tool. Pretty easy to use. But I purchased it in 2024 and created 5 custom domains without any issues. About a month ago, I attempted to create another survey and add a custom domain and received a prompt asking for payment, informing me that this was an add-on, because I was out of custom domain. So I deleted 1 of my previous survey, with a custom domain, and again tried to use on the new survey, and was still not able to do so. I deleted a second survey, and still was not able to create a new custom domain. I contacted chat support and the response that I received is not no plans came with unlimited custom domains. I don't have a problem with that statement, but perhaps that should be clearly spelled out in the plan. Kirill, as a courtesy, gave me '3' custom domains to use, so now that means that I can only have 3 concurrent surveys at a given time. Unfortunately, that turned me away from this product. 3 Tacos, for the 3 Custom Domains.
