Q: Looks pretty good.

I passed on Vaizle because their ad reporting function still wasn’t live and I don’t treat anything in the roadmap as concrete. That being said, I have a few questions.

1. How do you compare to Oviond, an ongoing Appsumo deal?

2. I don’t understand what you mean when you say “40 social accounts” and then “Social Accounts: 5 of each.....” in the next line.

3. So, many people have commented on
your Low review score of 1.6/5, and I do understand that it was for an early release. However, having such a low peer reviewed score for whatever reason doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in us (especially those who have been burnt before by other companies). If you want us to really give this a shot you should sweeten the pot, which brings me to point 4.

4. I like the features that are being pitched, but I feel that the Brand/Profile and Social Account limits could be raised (obviously not unlimited - that would be completely unrealistic and unsustainable). I believe money isn’t an issue for most Sumolings, and we would be more than happy to full stack IF the deal limits were raised appropriately.

What would really suck would be if we took precious time out of our work/business to test this product, and it doesn’t match our expectations. We wouldn’t want to risk our time for disproportionately low limits now would we?

I hope these questions have given you some insight into how we think, and maybe helped other Sumolings as well!

Hello Joshua.

Thank you for writing us:

1) I think Oviond is specialized in reporting. In Metricool you can find dashboards and reporting on web analytics, from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, linkedin, Google My Business, but also from Facebook Ads and Google Ads.

The most important difference is that from Metricool you also have management tools aimed at social media managers: calendar and autolist planning, answer messages and comments, add clickable buttons and images on Instagram, etc.

2) Metricool is organized into brands. Each Metricool brand is used to connect an account of each social network or platform that belongs to the same brand.

3) I get it, thanks!

4) Let's increase it :)

Thank you very much for taking your time to write these questions and insights!

Thanks for the prompt response!

Follow up questions:

1. Do you intend to integrate other 3rd party link shorteners such as Switchy (Currently ongoing Appsumo deal?

2. For reports automation, are you able to remove the monthly limit, and allow us to send weekly reports as well.

3. For ads reporting, are you also able to include data such as psychometrics and interest performance? (Connect.io feature). If no, could this possibly be in the roadmap?

4. I’m really happy that you’re listening to us Sumolings. I hope you raise the Brand/Profile and Social Account limit across all the different stack layers - I have at least 3-4 interested parties who are looking to purchase around 2-3 stacks as soon as you raise them. Cheers!

Joshua

Hello Joshua.

Follow up:

1) We are not really considering right now. Why do you need to user another shortener?

2) You can download a report for any period of time. You can choose "custom period" in the selector.

3) In Ads reporting, we include keywords performance for Google Ads. Do you mean Facebook Ads interests?

4) Great!

1. Hmmm. Take a look at https://appsumo.com/switchy/ and see if integrating it makes sense for you guys. I bought switchy for Socialbee, but if your platform is as powerful as Socialbee, then I would probably just switch over completely from there.

2. Are you able to have a automatic function where we can automatically send a report to our client at set intervals (every month/week) in PDF format?

3. Yes I mean Facebook interests and demographics performance aggregation.

(Different set of questions)

Facebook Ads Creation/Management (Because I’m a FB PPC Agency, and I haven’t used any other 3rd party ad management tool other than Facebook’s internal one)

1. Facebook is constantly rolling out new metrics in certain ad accounts (Value, Relevance Diagnostic Metrics etc). Will you also Implement these new metrics? Forgive me if I lack the understanding where APIs are concerned.

2. CBO - Does your platform support CBO and all its actionable tools (min/max spend etc)

3. Automatic Rules. Does your platform support automated rules?

4. Is your platform connected to Facebook’s generic API or the Facebook Ads API? Because if you are connected to their Ads API, we can uncover “hidden interests”.

5. Custom audiences uploads?

While I understand I could learn all these things myself by trying it out, I currently don’t have any spare ad accounts to experiment with because of the global situation out there. I thank you for your patience and being so eager to listen to us!

Joshua

Hello Joshua.

1) I can see that switchy is very powerful. It makes sense. However, in the meantime, you can use switchy links in Metricool planner posts the same way you would if you posted directly to Twitter or Facebook. I see in their roadmap that they are working on an API so that we can do the integration and in the meantime, they are making progress in different integrations. I take note to contact them.

2) Yes, you can program that Metricool sends a monthly email with the PDF report.

3) We don't have this drill down yet. But it is interesting to see if we can get the information from Facebook API.

NEW SET OF QUESTIONS :)

1) Correct, Facebook incorporates new metrics, first in the ad manager and later in the API. We are attentive to include the news also in Metricool.

2) We don't have tools for manage CBO yet.

3) We don't have automatic rules in Facebook Ads campaigns.

4) We use Facebook Ads API for Ads campaigns.

5) We don't manage custom audiences yet.

Thank you Joshua. Your feedback is very interesting for us!

I see. Will you be incorporating CBO in your roadmap though? CBO will eventually be the only way to run ads on Facebook.

Hello Joshua! As soon as we have tools to manage CBO, we´ll include it in our road map.

Thanks!

What do you mean by when you have access to the tools? When Facebook gives you API access or when you develop the tools?

..'money isn’t an issue for most Sumolings'?
Good for you, but please speak for yourself. I'm sure there's quite a few newbies, or just started, who struggle a bit more than you.

Best ABS

Joshua. Initial Q.

I’m sorry you feel that way, and I meant no disrespect. If you look at my other posts on this LTD, you will see that I’m actively trying to look out for the smaller businesses by requesting for a higher profile count per code/stack.

I hope you have a great day, and I wish you all the best.
