Q: Question 1: On Storage Space and Pre-installed Workflows
MimicPC provides 50 GB of storage across all tiers, from Tier 1 to Tier 5, which feels inadequate—especially for Tier 5 users who pay significantly more. This lack of tiered scaling removes incentives to upgrade. Additionally, since MimicPC’s key feature is pre-installed workflows, it’s strange that these count against personal storage. This feels like Dropbox, where shared files consume space on the recipient’s account, a model many find overly restrictive. Could MimicPC allow base workflows and shared models to be excluded from user quotas, or significantly increase storage for higher tiers? For Tier 5 users, this is especially frustrating, as higher costs should come with tangible benefits like expanded storage. Addressing this could make MimicPC feel much fairer for premium users.

Dec 26, 2024A: Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding the storage options and pre-installed workflows in MimicPC. We genuinely value your feedback and want to clarify a few points regarding the workflow templates and our current storage policies.
Our workflow templates are application images designed to facilitate seamless sharing of models, LoRA files, and other contents, ensuring that workflows run smoothly for everyone involved. We understand your concerns about storage, and we've implemented several features to address this:
Pre-installed Popular Models: We strive to include popular models such as Flux and Hunyuan video, which do not take up any of the user's storage space.
Storage Efficiency for User-Created Workflows: When users save their custom workflows as templates, these only utilize 25% of the original storage space. For example, if you create a workflow that occupies 20 GB, saving it as a template would only consume 5 GB of storage.
Special Offers for GPU Users: Our Lifetime Deal (LTD) for GPU services offers significant discounts, reflecting our commitment to providing value to our users. Additionally, we have introduced budget-friendly storage plans and multiple avenues for users to acquire free additional storage.
