I really like Minimarks because of its simple design. At first, I wasn't sure if I needed it, but once I started using it, I realized how great it is. I use it with my Vivaldi browser, and it has made my workflow so much easier and smoother. It's one of the few tools I've bought from AppSumo that I use every day!

For me, Minimarks.io offers a good amount of minimalism. The clarity and simplicity is just right for me, so I'm not distracted by unnecessary elements. Also important for my everyday browsing: it is a real timesaver! I look forward to seeing the tool grow.

Here's a "power tip" for researchers or other users who may be hesitant to try out minimarks, because they think that the app doesn't support lengthy or verbose bookmark titles. When looking at screenshots of minimarks, it may appear that minimarks only supports website icons (favicons) and an optional short name (like "Wikipedia", for example). This is incorrect. minimarks actually supports bookmark names with lengths above 100 characters! "Wikipedia's Lists of The New York Times number-one books" ‒ this is an actual wiki page.

Two reasons for wanting lengthy bookmark titles:
1. Some users employ tagging schemes or other tokens, dates or ratings in their titles to help organize them and aid in later retrieval. "Wikipedia - NYT Lists - oct2024 - multiple authors - English". This is a serious difference between Pocket (which does not allow modifying bookmark titles) and Instapaper (which does). You can also identify a bookmark with only a single favicon, if that's your preference. Different spaces (pages) can display different layouts, with 1 up to 4 columns. Very long bookmark titles will wrap if they exceed the line. Additionally, minimarks has its own hashtagging feature, plus you can add comments to any bookmark title if you need even more identifying text (quote part of the webpage).

2. Web developers often have to link to many individual pages on the same website, so that all those pages end up with the same favicon. Using verbose titles, hashtags, and comments, it is easy to differentiate large numbers of similar pages. Many bookmarking tools do not provide this level of detail (ie, Pocket).

1. It allows me to add the maximum number of links in the smallest space.
2. I can easily share links with others.
3. It helps me get rid of the cumbersome new tab page in browsers.

Overall, I give this product five tacos.

So out of majority of my Appsumo purchases Minimarks is one of the few products that I find I am using constantly. I bought this web app for personal use, so I can't vouch yay or nay for it's team functions- BUT even just for personal use it is BEYOND meeting my expectations, especially based on price.

What I'm diggin' about it:
•It is easy to use right off the rip, though to be honest, I had to research a little to find out how to add notes to my links.
•The fact that you CAN add notes to your links.
•Customization, especially adding an image to the background (mine is a picture of a lake).

What I would like to be different:
•I would like to be able to share my collections without someone needing an account to view them.
•Would also like to use my own images for the icons.

Overall, gotta give 5 tacos..!
