It’s not what I expected
In addition to receiving numerous “Quota exceeded” warnings, it’s nothing like what I expected.
Maybe the AI engine is precise in English, but in Spanish, it’s not accurate at all. It cuts videos mid-sentence, leaving fragments that make no sense.
My first test was to extract several short clips from a 40-minute video. The result? The AI couldn’t identify the best moments (not even close).
Additionally, the automatic systems that insert content do so with material completely unrelated to the context of the video.
I decided to forget the AI processing option and tried experimenting with manually cutting the entire video into 2-3 minute sections (adjusting for dialogue) to upload everything to TikTok as a tutorial series, aiming to leverage the automatic subtitling feature, which works wonderfully.
The result was disastrous: it took me forever due to the interface, which is far from intuitive. I also encountered many issues selecting the parts of the video I wanted to use for each cut. On top of that, I ran into bugs that prevented me from saving progress, forcing me to repeat those steps.
You also can’t delete existing cuts, which makes no sense. To keep the work organized, it should be possible to remove unnecessary cuts—like the ones the AI tool itself creates.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it could translate audio into multiple languages, but the excitement didn’t last long when I found out this feature is restricted to + users and consumes credits (which I understand).
In conclusion, I think this is a tool that, while conceptually brilliant, still has a long way to go.
I was able to achieve nearly the same results using the free version of CapCut.
