Q: Hey Ben, it´s nice to see you here again, I was always thrilled by your last offers.

I am still using HeySummit (maximum stacked and upgradet) on a weekly basis.

But somehow it feels like the developement of your other products slowed down a lot after the initial sale. For example I am still waiting for the Zapier-Upgrade for HeySummit (not possible to add participants through Zapier/Ingetrately). Also there is no paypal-payment-gateway in HeySummit for direct payment, it feels like those are some "basics" that I wonder they take so long.

When looking to your roadmaps a frustrating thing is there is no time-frame to see what was completed recently. So I can´t really see any upgrades that where made and this causes the feeling for me that not so much is happening after the first launch.

In addition to that, even the different projects "harm" themselves. While I would love to see more integrations on helpshelf, the helpshelf-bubble itself overlaps with the sign-in-form of HeySummit and it´s not really nice working to combine them. I would think that the combination of your own products should work totally fluent.

So I would be very happy if you could clarify a little bit about the future developement of your products. And yes, just to clarify that again: I am always thrilled when you launch a new product as you really hit the needs and find a nieche that is totally open and totally helpfull. I just want to also have a glimpse of the long-term-future of the products after the launch ....

All the best, Julian!

Hi Julian,

Thanks for reaching out and for the kind words. It's always a pleasure to see people getting so much value from the range of products.

In terms of roadmap and ongoing development; I totally appreciate what you're saying. The challenge we have (as will any product team) is deciding what is the most important thing to work on next. In the case of HeySummit for example, the team are constantly churning out updates though a lot of them are backend to support the rapidly growing user-base. In fact just yesterday HeySummit announced a $1M funding round so everything is growing quite quickly over there.

I get that it can be frustrating when the one thing you want isn't being worked on. I can't promise that we will always work on exactly the next feature that you need, but we do constantly look at the wider set of feedback we get from each community and use that as a way to drive the next product decisions in combination with our own vision for the product. For instance, last week we launched Freemium support at OnboardFlow - in that case it was requested by a few people but wasn't the most popular request by any stretch... however we felt it represented a key feature in the future direction of the product and so multiple months of development went into building it out.

As such, sometimes you'll find us working on features that are popular amongst our users (I.e. those that have been voted for the most) and other times you may find that we're working on something that no one has asked for, but that is either essential for us to work on or a part of our longer term strategy.

I hope the above helps provide a little bit of context. Im here if you have any further questions.

Thanks!

Ben
