Q: Hi Lorenzo, I am interested in Mode primarily to replace using company emails, the video conferencing ...

features are a nice additional feature but secondary for my use case.

The organisation has about 30 employees
Head office ( 10 employees)
Operating Site A: 5 employees
Operating Site B : 5 employees
Operating Site C: 7 employees
Operating Site D : 3 employees

Ideally I would like :
1. All staff to be able to use Mode instead of company email (it's expensive, open to abuse and a time suck)
2. Can messages be created and saved via tags or in folders with different subjects or is a message from person 1 to person 2 always just one long continual chat? ( my testing suggests its just one big long message like a whatsapp or text conversation with no way to file/tag messages on subjects - this means its not viable to replace email unless i am missing something because under normal circumstances I could easily have 40 different email subjects "live" so things would get lost/forgotten.
3. (I guess this about user groups and permissions) I would like to lock down the communication channels on a per user group/team basis like this:
Any staff member can contact anyone in head office ( and vice versa)
Non- Head office staff can only see and only contact staff in their own location (plus any head office staff as per above)

2. You can forward messages to your "secure Notes" which is basically a Solo Chat for yourself. You can also create groups for specific topics/discussions and then delete them when you are done. We do this often. You can also "Favorite" messages to keep them in your favorite list. And very soon you can export messages to archive them locally. So quite a few features to help with that.

3. "Contact management: feature is coming up soon which will allow, from the portal, to create "private" users that will not have access to the contacts list and could be added to pre-determined private groups with selected users.
