Your Mileage May Vary

The templates available are beautiful and engaging looking. As someone else mentioned, it's hard to view the templates fully. Once you start editing them, you start with a completely blank canvas and can add the elements you need. It would be nice if all the elements were added in the correct order to start with, from there, it's super easy to move them up or down or remove them all together. It takes time just to assemble the pre-made template.

I tested this with MailerLite. It was very easy to import. It sent beautiful emails to my subscribers using iphone and Gmail, but on Outlook users just got a blank white email. The tags for the Unsubscribe link "works" but it pulls in the whole url instead, plus the code that shows it supposed to just be the word "unsubscribe" with the link. This can be resolved by just using the footer from MailerLite in the html editor, but it interrupts the look of the design.

Another big complaint that I have is, when you replace the images in the templates, it can completely change the look/design of the template. In several scenarios, you have to sources images that are the correct size and aspect ratio, or transparent png background to get the template to look the same. So you end up having to design graphics. Then you have to upload them to storage elsewhere since that's not included in this service. If you're going to be changing up your emails often, it would be pretty labor intensive. But if you plan to keep it relatively the same, you might light this.

Fonts are easy to edit and there are many choices. The text is easy to edit per block as well.

If they can fix the trouble with nothing appearing in Outlook emails (at least sent from MailerLite) and the tags problem, it might be an option for some. For my use case, I'm finding it too time-intensive. I can't just use RSS feeds to upload blog content and images...I have to source all the images and urls first.

It does integrate with a lot of providers, but keep in mind, html editing is often offered at a higher tier plan. (SendFox and MailChimp both you'll need upgraded plans, SuiteDash doesn't let you use the full template, etc.)

Hi,

Thanks for your time reviewing our email builder!

Right now once you start a template you start from blank canvas. We are working on adding some features and we may add this one. To have available a template ready with all modules available on canvas.

I am surprised by saying that on Outlook the template doesn’t appear… In order to check it’s mandatory to send me some screenshots and the HTML as it’s exported from our email builder.

The unsubscribe tags are already pre-installed by us so you don’t need to add anything. Once you export your template the unsubscribe tag is there. You don’t need to do anything else. I would like to send me a screenshot in order to have a clear image of how this looks on your template.

About the images you don’t need to know the exact width and height of every image except the background images which may look wrong on Gmail if you use images with huge widths… That’s why on every background image we suggest the correct width and height. I would like to have a screenshot and check what goes wrong.

Many ESP change their pricing plans but unfortunately there is nothing that we can do for that.

For conclusion I suggest this.
- Send me screenshots of the issues you have on builder or Mailerlite or Outlook.
- Send me the HTML as it’s exported from Moduls Composer.
- Send me the URL of the templates you are working on our builder.

Please se me all the above in this email address - info@psd2newsletters.com - and I will have a careful look and let you know asap.

Keep in mind that we care of what and how our clients feel by using our email builder and we will not ignore you.

At your disposal,
Yannis
