Q: Hi Fulvio, Firstly have to say that this product looks stunning and well thought out.

I'm on the fence at this moment primarily for one reason.

I work in the Staffing and Recruiting Industry and manage a small team of recruiters.

Could you please elaborate on the scope of the project functionalities and the features that are available?
- Would I be able to create a project (or a job opening) and assign potential candidates (or contacts) and companies from the CRM to that project?

Additionally, do you currently have API documentation that I would be able to integrate with?

Lastly, how do you delineate between a lead and a contact? Tags?

Again, looks like an absolutely spectacular product!

A: Wow THANKSSS! Any appreciation for our Mokapen is a more reason to go ahead and make our digital coffee machine more suitable to all our users! Thanks again!

Well, the core of Mokapen, in my personal opinion (but I am passionate of tasks and projects) is the ACTIVITIES area: tasks -> projects -> workareas.
Here you can create you teams and allocate to each member a task or a project. You can cluster projects by workarea (like "HR", "New talents", "Partnerships", etc...).

Yes, you can allocate and easily, really easily manage your team tasks and projects into cards, kanban (I love it!!), calendar and list views. In few clicks or with drag and drop and you have done!

Projects features, you can manage many information in a easy way:
- options like: priority, privacy, add tags (colored pills to be customized), attach file from you pc to Mokapen server or Google Drive directly, add color, mark as open/close, assign to one or more people or your organization, comment, move, clone or downgrade to task
- connection: in Mokapen you can connect each entity (task, project, contact, company, deal, product, ticket etc..)

So yes, you can create a contact or a company and then connect to them any of the entities like project, task or other. When you see the contact page, you will see all activities related to him/her.

APIs: We made APIS to read from Mokapen and we are testing with partner (and they work really fine!), so we are going to expand with documentation and writing features. If you get onboard on Mokapen let's have a call to see if you could be a testing partner too :)

Leads vs Contacts: really good point! On this topic there are different opinions and we also saw that other big CRMs are using different approaches. We saw that creating two different lists, one for leads and one for contacts, creates confusion in people. If am Fulvio and you are going to approach me for the first time I could be a lead. but if then I buy something and become a customer...and then you are going to try to sell me again a service? Am I a customer for previous and a lead for new?! Yes and no.
So we decided to keep just one list: Contacts. And here you can clustering by:
- Type field: here you can add all options you want, like Lead, Customer, Partner
- Tags: also in this case in a more fancy way you can create colored pills to tag your contacts/companies.

Hope to have been useful for you and hope to see you soon in Mokapen :)
ciao!
