Almost there - a promising monitoring app

I have signed up to Tier 3. This review is based on 1 week of trial use and it's not influenced by the perk review offer. At this point I will rate it a solid 3+/5 stars.

Things I like:
- a good amount of monitors
- the status pages
- notification options (SMS, email, call) - but I hope I can use my own Twilio account, haven't got to look into details yet.
- nice design of dashboard and interface

Things I do not like - issues with some monitors:
- issues with some monitors: sitemaps, simply don't work, monitors appear down. I had added the ips in Cloudflare, no change.
- text and screenshot monitoring, monitors go down. Text did work though, it did send a notification on change, I like that, and I like the info being presented in the email itself. But at this very moment, it shows being down.
- no US/ Canada server locations at this point
- limited integrations, would like more options beside Zappier Syncspider, webhooks

Things I'd like to see:

- being able to manage monitors (turn on/off) per each domain (website address). Instead of adding them one at a time, and having them mixed in a long, un-browsable list. That can be further address by:

- grouping website by custom tags / folders / clients... (ie: clients, care plan A, care plan B ... whatever it makes sense for us, the users). This would make it easy to manage, browse the monitored websites. A good example for you to get the idea of managing all this is to look at ManageWP. You mimic that organization, and interface options, and you improve the usability of your app by 1000%.

- Notification options - being able to choose a certain monitor to also notify another email address, i.e. the client(s). Again, look at ManageWP for a great example. Being able to manage clients is a good way to avoid duplication of data entry...

- scheduled reports with multiple email recipients. Again, look at ManageWP for a great example.

- I want to be able to click on a website and see all the related monitors, history graphs, track down periods (I like how we can filter the down monitors, in a similar way we could filter history), be able to send reports, assign tags/clients

I want to be able to keep and use this, but at this point I am on the fence. I will give it more time, hopefully it will get improved, polished and issues will be addressed.

The only way to offer some noticeable value to clients, is the status page. As for noticeable is getting the notifications myself. Although the inbox can get full quickly. I'd like certain emails to be send directly to the client, like domain expiration notices especially. Text / screenshot monitoring as well are good monitors that would make sense to also email the client or just the client. But that can apply to all monitors. And that should be managed in one place, all options accessible per each domain (using toggles, selection dropdown... as much as possible. I'd be willing to test out and offer more clarification on these improvements...

Hi there,

Thanks a lot for the kind comments and great feedback!

Please do not hesitate to contact us through live support if you have any issues with your monitor, we’ll do our best to resolve it together.

Server locations in US and other regions is currently in closed beta, we are smoothing out some edge cases. You can expect them in the coming weeks. Integrations with more services are also in the development.

For the notifications, as you’ve mentioned in the update, you can add any e-mail address you want. The re-entering is something we shared by us as well :) A bulk editor is in the works, we’ll have an easier way soon!

For all the feature requests you can check out our public roadmap over at https://roadmap.monspark.com/

Some of the features you’ve mentioned are already in the development, you can check them out and vote however you want!

Also, thanks a lot @Anil_Agrawal for the answer! We’ll most definitely consider all the feature requests!
