Q: Credits use on new video and Character consistency

Your FAQ says a new video costs 20 to 40 credits. What is it dependent on? Resolution? Length? Style?

Also there is no information on the character consistency as far as I can tell. Is there any character consistency here or every scene will have a different looking character?

A: Hi there! Thanks for asking.
1.Credit usage: The number of credits used depends on how complex your video is — for example:
• 🟢 Static (non-animated) scenes use very few credits.
• 🟡 Basic Animation adds some motion but still keeps credit usage low.
• 🔴 High quality option for animation uses more credits, since it generates multiple realistic motion layers, lighting effects, and dynamic rendering per scene.

2.Character consistency: Mootion takes care of character consistency at the system level so you would not have to. For you to tweak further on character consistency across scenes, we recommend using the same character reference throughout your video which is described in the image prompt(you can find it under each scene - regenerate - the text is there). In the Studio, once you keep the same description there in the scenes, you can reuse it in each scene so the system keeps the same look and style.
We’re also developing an advanced “Character Consistency Mode” that will automatically track and preserve character identity, outfits, and facial details across the entire video — coming soon! 👀

Very interested in the Consistent Character question. IMO, for an app like yours is of extreme importance, if not the most important feature to be available. Still, don't see it mentioned anywhere.

Thank you for this!

Agree on consistent character, if each scene the people 'warp' into new outfits or change facial features.

Is this on roadmap to create a 'human ' avatar, to use in future video generation s? So it is a consistent character in a short reel series?
