Q: How does credits work ?
Animating from an image costs 8–16 credits per second. So tier 3 with 8000 credits can generate 1000 second video from images .
as image generation and other process consume credits, we can maximum generate only one 10 min video in tier 3 . Thats 259$ .
isnt it ?

Oct 28, 2025A: Hi there. Thanks for the question. Just two examples for you to understand better:
• A 3-minute video usually consumes around 1,000–3,000 credits depending on the number of animated scenes and effects.
• A 5-minute video can take about 2,000–4,000 credits if fully animated with multiple scenes.
Using Basic Animation mode and High Quality option helps you save a lot of credits while maintaining great visuals.
Regarding the project duration: Each scene typically runs 5-12 seconds, so with 32 scenes, you can create a video of across 3–8 minutes, depending on the pacing and style. For longer videos, yes — you can absolutely split them into multiple projects and then merge them externally (or soon, directly inside Mootion). To ensure smooth transitions and character consistency, you can reuse the same character templates, background styles, and voice settings across those projects.
This was previously answered by Lemon Yuan who said that whether you can only make one 10‑minute video on Tier 3 depends on how much you animate — you can make dozens if you only animate a few key scenes. Credits: generating a new video uses 20 or 40 credits, creating images costs 2 credits each, and animating from an image costs 8–16 credits/sec; you pay a base cost to create the video, then extra credits for regenerations or animations. For example, a 3‑minute video usually consumes ~1,000–3,000 credits and a 5‑minute fully animated one ~2,000–4,000 credits; using Basic Animation mode and High Quality helps save credits.
