I am a professor at a university in the United States, and I'm looking to purchase this to create lecture videos, course videos for my students. And my question is, can I use a PDF file? Can I upload it to create a video? Will the app auto-generate a script from the PDF? These videos are usually 20 minutes to 30 minutes long. Is the app capable of creating videos of that length? Thank you.

Dec 5, 2025A: Hi there. Thanks for the question. We currently support a variety of use cases related to explainer videos, which is perfect for creating lecture videos! However, we currently do not support pdf-to-video directly, you could copy the content and paste it in the box using 'script-to-video' if you have your own script. Also, you could use 'idea-to-video' feature to let Mootion auto-generate the script for you.
Regarding the video duration, 20-30 mins can be a bit hard, 8-min video is possible.
