Mootion Reviews

Mootion is very promising, and certainly fun to play with, but it could use some improvements in order to make it indispensable in our nonprofit's marketing efforts. The process of creating a script is fun, and generating the poster frames for each scene is also fun. I also find the provided AI voices to be generally very good.

The problem I have overall with the tool is that the delivery fails to crescendo in any way. A good marketing pitch will build to a conclusion with an explicit rise in tempo, pitch or cutting frequency. This is less of an issue if you're telling short stories or educational snippets. But for marketing, I find the presentation falls just a tad flat. It's still an interesting tool and one that I'm sure to revisit fairly often.

The other thing that could be improved slightly is the consumption of credits. It does feel a little bit thirsty, compared to some other tools.

Here are few suggestions so far..

- Add "search" option in "My Projects"
- It would be helpful to organize projects into folders or workspaces for better management.
- Room for Improvement is there, when re-generating an image/scene.
- Animating should cost less credits...PLEASE!

I cannot believe how good it has turned out. Super-chuffed. I will definitely polish up my prompts, even though it has given me great results to start with, it has the capability for even better results as when I took time to test it out on a video. Navigation is fluid, and fun to use. I'm hoping that there will be more of a selection of UK voice-overs, and background music too, please. Apart from that, I can't fault it, thanks.

In general a decent AIO app but take credits and efforts generate good monetized content

- Credit hungry: A 14 scenes video (90s) with script pre-written in another AI app. Image and High quality animation generated by Mootion cost ~1000-1500 credit. That means with highest LTD or monthly Pro tier, in a month one can make only about 8 video at max, then purchase more credit, $8 for 1000 credits, which equal to $8 per video
- Animation quality OK with some flaws: Bad text and some morphing (styles: photorealistic, cinematic, 3D animate) not usable with photorealistic (plastic skin look) and cinematic (bad physics). All which lead to multiple regeneration which cost more credit.
- UI/UX is pretty good, however since it's the video generation app, it should have have basic video editing feature like cut, crop, adjust, zoom in/out, adjust speed...etc
- No option to edit a Finished project, so I can't do small adjust to improve the video. Only new video from the start, which also cost lots of credit... again
- Recommend to implement BYOK framework. Lots of professional monetized AI video channel are starting to use tool like that now.

Wanted to give a 3 stars, but I think the team need some motivation so 4 stars for now, and willing to upgrade the rating once the app is improved

Mootion.com’s video AI is impressive, especially its storytelling capabilities. The way you can influence each scene is clearly well thought out, giving creators granular control over narrative flow and pacing. Scene-level editing feels intuitive, and the overall UX makes it easy to iterate on ideas quickly.

I do hope Dutch language support is added soon. With Dutch available, I could fully leverage the platform for local audiences and workflows.

One suggestion: allow per‑scene image changes, not just text edits. Right now, if you want to update visuals for a single scene, you have to regenerate the entire video, which slows down iteration. A feature to swap or refine images at the scene level would make the editing process much faster and more flexible.

Another feature that would be great: the ability to build and save a personal visual style. Tools for training or fine‑tuning a style (through reference images, palettes, typography, motion presets, and recurring character designs) would help creators develop a unique, consistent look across projects.

Overall, Mootion.com is a strong tool for AI‑assisted video creation, and with language (Dutch) expansion, finer per‑scene visual controls, and personal style development, it could become a go‑to platform for me and other creators.
