Output is lacking
I like the concept and easy UX, but it isn't easy to get the output I want. I've tried simple prompts, advanced prompts with negative prompts, but it's still giving me something else or modern, despite asking for something specific, historical. Be prepared to burn a lot of credits only to get decent output before you even consider animating. It also burns my time as I have to fix a lot of scenes.
I would love to make movies in Swedish, but I can't get a clear ETA on it, so I may have to refund due to not being able to use it for my use case. But it's fun to play with for now.
Would also like to make videos up to 20 minutes in one project (and more scenes than 32), but as I understand it, I must create several projects and edit them together, which is not an efficient workflow. And I'm definitely looking for time-saving tools.
The credits are also very scarce even on tier 3, so I will never be able to use this tool to make 3 videos a week á 15-20 minutes long.
If it just gave better output and more consistency, more edit options, more languages, and I could produce more videos and have Mootion as my main platform for content creation, it would have been a 5-star. (Would also love voices from Eleven Labs that sound less robotic.)
On the plus side, besides the UX, Mootion has templates which I like, and making more for different use cases would be good.
I may update my review if the workflow improves and makes content creation more efficient and less time and credit-consuming.

Oct 13, 2025Hi there. Thank you for this incredibly detailed and constructive feedback. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Yes, you are absolutely right: you've identified some key challenges we're actively working to solve, including character consistency, longer project capabilities, and expanding our language offerings like Swedish. For you to tweak further on character consistency across scenes, we recommend using the same character reference throughout your video which is described in the image prompt(you can find it under each scene - regenerate - the text is there). In the Studio, once you keep the same description there in the scenes, you can reuse it in each scene so the system keeps the same look and style. We’re also developing an advanced “Character Consistency Mode” that will automatically track and preserve character identity, outfits, and facial details across the entire video — coming soon! 👀 Regarding the credit consumption: I totally understand your concern about credit usage.
The animation feature does use more credits because it generates multiple realistic motion layers per scene to achieve a cinematic effect, but we’re already working on optimizing this so creators can get the same quality with fewer credits.
We've noted all your specific requests, and will put them on our roadmap.
We are committed to making these improvements and we'll be in touch with updates. Also, we would more than appreciate it if you could send us more detailed feedback via support@mootion.com, happy to discuss more on how to improve the experience.
