Useful tool, but still too limited for my workflow

Since there was no free demo version, I wasn’t able to test the tool before purchasing. What I find particularly confusing is that videos can only be created in 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1, while images also support 3:4 and 4:3. As a result, an image created in 4:3 cannot be used directly to generate a video.

I also received the error message several times saying that video generation failed because the input image might contain a real person. In my case, that was not understandable: I had created a photorealistic image with Nano Banana, showing a young woman in a vintage garage wearing a T-shirt with my hot rod design. So it was neither a revealing image nor a child, nor a famous person.

My prompt was simply: She dances to the rhythm of the music. I had also trimmed the music to 15 seconds and composed it myself. In my opinion, it is not acceptable that the generation still fails in such a case.

I wanted to create an Instagram reel to present my new Hot Rod collection. Unfortunately, that is not possible as long as videos do not support the 4:5 format.

The good thing is that no credits are used up when such errors occur. Credits do run out fairly quickly overall, but I assume that is mostly part of the initial learning phase. Once you know how Motionvid works, you can probably create many good videos and animations with 500 credits.

The template selection is solid and offers many customization options. Overall, this is an interesting tool with a lot of potential, but for my use case it is still a bit too limited.
