Let me start with my experience with contacting Moxly support. I had an issue with my account and I reached out to Moxly via [email protected]. Within 10 minutes I had a reply and my account issue was fixed.

Moxly support is quick, friendly, and very helpful!

Now on to the nitty gritty of Moxly itself. When building an app you can choose to start with a blank template or go for one of the ready-made templates. In my opinion, the ready-made templates are fairly simple, and to be honest, most look very generic. The Todo and Recipes templates look the most normal. But the templates may contain enough guts to get you started.

The ability to use Firebase and low-code (if you know how to code) makes your abilities for an app (non-gaming) almost endless. AdMob integration is also a nice touch.

Recommendations?

The interface is clean, however, I would recommend that you initially have the Page and Component items expanded on the right side of the screen. And then have the option to slide it away. The Plus icon is not prominent in its current state and there is so much unused screen real estate that you could have that opened already.

When doing your header and or footer options I see that you have a way to Import the settings from another page, maybe have the option to add the header/footer from the current page as another "Headers and footers" option. That way a person can select it from there to add to another page.

Please change the editing of items to live editing so that we can see the changes we make as we make them, instead of having to save them first.

Adding a snap grid would be very helpful for laying out objects.

Maybe add the option of adding Lottie images.

Summary

Overall, Moxly looks a bit rough around the edges and needs quite a bit of polishing. It has good bones and can be used to make something complex. I think the Tier 2 limits are generous and should allow you to make a large number of applications for yourself, or your clients. Support seems to be attentive and that's a very good thing. I think Moxly is a capable platform and look forward to seeing it grow.
