Your idea is great!

Some users have also mentioned that they’d like to see a summary and preview interface for notes before entering the full editing view. I think what they’re describing is quite similar to what you called a “reading mode,” but with a bit more structured summary info.

We definitely agree that books and long-form reading are an important part of the MyMemo experience, and we’d love to support that better. We’ll add this to our list of future feature considerations!

As for remembering your last reading position, that’s totally doable and something we can look into soon.

It's not a traditional MP3 or video player that reads things word-for-word. Instead, it uses AI to create engaging summaries in podcast format, which many users have found helpful for reviewing and learning from their saved content.
