Q: Anyone have luck using a Microsoft 365 email from GoDaddy?
I've enabled IMAP and can't get Mystrika to connect for the life of me. Even using
IMAP Host: outlook.office365.com Port 993
SMTP Host: smtp.office365.com Port 587
Spent hours trying to sort this.

May 14, 2024A: Hi John7210,
Thanks for your interest in Mystrika.
If you have followed our guides, we are confident, you would have tested your configuration using tool Microsoft itself provides for IMAP?
https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/tests/imap/input
Mystrika cannot do anything about it, if your settings doesn't work with Microsoft's own IMAP verification tool.
SMTP works on Instantly.ai as I'm using IMAP but when using your testconnectivity.microsoft.com, I'm getting this error. Godaddy couldn't help either... Any idea? I want to use Mystrika but have spent hours trying to troubleshoot set up when it works seamlessly on other similar platforms.
Hoping you can help and I can get started with Mystrika.
Testing the SSL certificate to make sure it's valid.
The SSL certificate failed one or more certificate validation checks.
Test Steps
The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer is attempting to obtain the SSL certificate from remote server outlook.office365.com on port 993.
The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer wasn't able to obtain the remote SSL certificate.
Additional Details
The certificate couldn't be validated because SSL negotiation wasn't successful. This could have occurred as a result of a network error or because of a problem with the certificate installation.
Hi john7210,
As the test link itself is failing, it's clear IMAP and possible SMTP are not allowed on your email address.
If you are using the email address somewhere else successfully, that means you are using oAuth and not IMAP/SMTP.
oAuth is not a Email Native protocol (Unlike IMAP/SMTP) and allows ESPs much deeper insight into your Email Activities, raising the risk on your Email Addresses.
As such, Mystrika doesn't support oAuth and doesn't have plan to do so either.
Mystrika works with IMAP/SMTP combination (that's Email's Native Protocol), and unless they can be enabled, not much we can do about it.

@John7210
We are facing the same issue with Microsoft emails.
I think a detailed guide would be of great help from Mystrika's team
Hi Prince,
As much as we would love to help with this Outlook issue you are facing, it's out of our hands.
As the test itself https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/tests/imap/input is not passing, it's certainly an issue with SMTP/IMAP enable/disable at Outlook end, and you need to follow up with them.
We already have the guides available at https://help.mystrika.com/hc/mystrika-help-center/en/categories/email-address-connection which cover all the required information for outlook.
Unfortunately, as it's an external service it's out of our hands.
As of today, we do provide our in-house service for email sending at https://doyoumail.com , if that interests you.
Mystrika supports any/all Email Service provider that supports/have SMTP and IMAP enabled.
