Good concept, but still not there (yet)
I have tested Nexter for the last 4 days and there are things I like and other I dislike:
PROS
- Good idea having Theme, blocks and extension all in a single "platform"
- Blocks are good, but still havent had time to fully test them all.
- Most options on the extensions are very useful and could replace other unnecessary plugins.
- GTMetrix show good results using one of their Gutenberg templates. (A score, above 90%)
CONS
- Importing templates is not very good. I had problems at home (thought it was my internet connection). But testing at the office is the same experience. It gets sluggish and sometimes it don't finish. And sometimes it duplicate content.
- The UI is not bad, but on my personal taste I feel it could be more organized.
Overall I think is a good product, with plenty of room to improve. I feel a little bit worried about the medium/long term sustainbility due to the number of competitors. But if they manage to keep improving and deliver what they have on the roadmap (good ideas In Progress already and interesting ideas under consideration) they could become a solid option to have in consideration in the WP environment. I will keep testing and if I see better performance with the importing process I would rise my review to 4 tacos.

Aug 15, 2025Thanks for taking the time to share such a detailed and balanced review really appreciate you highlighting the pros like our Theme + Blocks + Extensions setup, useful extension options, and the performance results you’ve seen with GTMetrix.
That’s exactly the kind of value we want Nexter to deliver.
On the concerns you’ve raised:
1. We’ve already redone the full template import process so your site will be ready in under a few minute. It has all templates places, the site is just ready just replace content and publish.
I’m confident you’ll see a huge improvement. If you’d like to try the early version, please join our Discord here, I’d love to personally walk you through it and hear your feedback: https://go.posimyth.com/nexter-discord
2. We’ve also reworked the template import UI to make it more organized and smoother to use. These improvements are part of a bigger push to make Nexter even more intuitive while keeping the platform fast and lightweight.
As for long-term sustainability, we’ve been growing steadily, with a clear roadmap that’s actively in progress, and our focus is on building Nexter into a truly complete, future-ready WordPress ecosystem.
If you do test the new importer and find it delivers as promised, we’d be grateful if you could reconsider and bump us up to 5 tacos your support really helps keep us motivated.
We’d also love to hear more about your experience and any ideas you might have for future improvements. You can join our Nexter Feedback Call here:
