It's good, BUT comes with some trade-offs

I've been playing around with Nexter for couple days to see how powerful it is and love the idea of "all-in-one" concept that Posimyth team brings, but I still have crucial notes for Nexter. For context, I've used a bunch of page builders, so I'll be comparing Nexter to others as well.

What I liked most:
It has tons of template for faster development. Great for inspiration or direct use. Another thing is Nexter's ecosystem has everything that we need. From page builder (with blocks), theme, security, admin enhancement, etc. White-label feature also comes in handy for freelancers and agencies. From their block collection, we almost don't need anything else.

What I didn't like:
It has multiple installations for each plugin (eg. Blocks and Blocks Pro, Extension and Extensions Pro). It kinda defeat the "plugin efficiency" even though the numbers of installations are still low if we compared to the other plugins to reach similar features. As I mentioned earlier, their block library is very extensive, but I feel some blocks are redundant. For instance, there are currently four different blocks related to typography and three buttons. I'm aware they have different purposes, but other plugins can simplify the functions and I hope the same for Nexter. With all the massive features, there's no global styling for blocks (as in the native Site Editor) and no way to save customized settings.

Neutral opinion:
However, I believe it's suitable for anyone familiar with a page builder. In my opinion, the style editor and its workflow is more closer to a page builder than Gutenberg, which takes a different approach.

Notes to the team:
There's room for improvements. While it's great to see many documentation and videos, I think it's also important to have "how to set up" videos since it has so many features. Many content in documentation don't include final-result screenshots, so users like me may sometimes be unsure whether they've done things correctly.

Overall, it's more than enough to build nice websites, especially with this price. It offers great tools for freelancers or agencies as they have solid bundle that consists of theme, blocks (builder), and extension to enhance theme customization. If you're looking for a tool to replace page builder completely or ready to fully convert into a complete ecosystem, Nexter is the answer. But on the other hand, if you are a Block Editor user, it has a significant learning curve compared to others.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and for taking the time to share your honest experience with Nexter. We truly value your input and want to address your concerns directly:

Plugin Ecosystem: We understand that requiring a few plugins from our ecosystem can feel like extra steps. Our goal is to keep Nexter modular—combining blocks and extensions—to give you powerful features with minimal bloat. Splitting these components allows more flexibility and better performance without overloading a single plugin. While this setup is necessary for now, please rest assured that plugin efficiency and site speed remain our top priorities.

Multiple Blocks: You’re right that some blocks have overlapping functionality. This segmentation developed over time to meet specific feature requests and optimize for performance. We're actively working on consolidating and simplifying blocks—expect some improvements soon.

Global Styles: Nexter supports global styles and global options for managing colors and design settings sitewide. You can find more information and tutorials here:

Global Styles: https://nexterwp.com/nexter-blocks/extras/wordpress-global-block-style/

Global Options: https://nexterwp.com/nexter-blocks/extras/wordpress-global-options/

We've also started adding more global container features based on user feedback—these will be rolling out in upcoming releases.

Video Tutorials: Thank you for highlighting the need for more organized and practical tutorials. We’re currently revamping our onboarding education to make setup and advanced features much easier to learn, especially for new users.

We hope these clarifications help address some of your issues. If you decide to revisit your rating, we’d be grateful but of course, we respect your decision regardless. Your feedback is instrumental in shaping our roadmap, and we remain committed to making Nexter even better for everyone.

Thank you again for being part of our journey!
