Might be great but is so unneccesarily confusing
I’ve only used regular (non-Gutenberg) page builders, and they’ve all been so much easier than Nexter. It should be simple and seamless, yet I find myself spending hours just trying to do basic things like a carousel. When using their templates, it gets even worse!
The AI is the best shot you have at making anything work, since the first half (or more) of every video is more about upgrading than actually teaching. As usual, the training seems made for people who already know exactly how to use every facet, with no consideration for beginners. Even their ‘Getting Started’ series tells you nothing about using Gutenberg or the differences you’ll run into. It goes straight from ‘here’s how to install it’ to the next (unnatural) step in the process, leaving out a ton in between.
It has taken me hours to make a simple header (and I do mean simple), not to mention the time wasted on the carousel. I’m not sure if this is total garbage yet, but it’s starting to feel like it. (And honestly, I don’t care how long they’ve been in business — if anything, being around longer means they should know better!)
Edit: Tacos. Note: If it "clicks" and begins to make my life easier I'll come back and update this. So far it's been over a day since my last support, however.

Sep 4, 2025Thank you for being so open about your experience.
I can completely understand how this feels confusing if you’ve been working with non-Gutenberg builders before. Gutenberg works differently at its core, and that can feel like an extra hurdle at first.
That said, we’re just about to release a new template import process within the next week, and this will make things much smoother, especially when starting from kits. I know you mentioned templates felt like they made it worse that’s exactly the part we’ve been reworking.
If you’ve used tools like Elementor, I can assure you Nexter follows a very similar Theme Builder approach, so once it clicks, headers, footers, carousels, and even advanced layouts become a lot easier to manage.
I’d really like to talk with you directly and understand where exactly you’re getting stuck so we can fix it together. If you can drop me an email at support@posimyth.com
with the subject Meeting for Nexter Onboarding, I’ll personally jump on a quick call with you and guide you step by step.
You’ve given us your time and honest feedback, and I truly appreciate that.
Let me help you make Nexter work the way it’s meant to, I’m confident it will feel a lot simpler once we walk through it together.
