Q: Process instance "name", date dependency & security questions

Hi, this looks like a really great product. A couple of Q's

1. When viewing all process instances that are running, is it possible to see some kind of data or "nickname" for that instance

E.g. imagine we arrange 20 webinars a month, and we arrange them 3 months in advance (extreme, but you get the idea!). We'll likely have 60 "Arrange Webinar" process types running (i.e. instances of the process).

I'd like to easily know which one to click on.e.g. have "[Process Type] [Instance Nickname]"shown, so it might say "Arrange Webinar: June 2nd with Nick". Or similar
Is that possible?

2. Can we have "T-" due date/reminders, e.g. "2 weeks before, remind speaker"

3. What is your information/cyber security posture, and do you comply with GDPR (and/or your local equivalent)?

Thanks!

A: Hey Adrian,

1. When you run your process, you can set the name of it so that it appears differently in your active processes list. You can also do this if processes are run via the run link by adjusting the title in the URL. Here's an example. https://getnextstep.io/run/PROCESS?title=test.
You can also click on the process title inside the instance to rename it as well

2. The best way to achieve this at the moment is to create a task and when running the instance, setting the due date to the date you would like to be reminded.

3. NextStep is hosted on Google Cloud Your data is encrypted, access is controlled.
We follow GDPR principles — we don't sell your data, we only collect what we need, and if you ever want your data deleted or exported, just ask and we'll sort it within 30 days.
As a small team we don't have our own SOC 2 certification, but we lean on Google's certified infrastructure and take security seriously.
