Finally something to replace my Microsoft To Do and Trello
(Conclusion at the bottom)
Literally last week Microsoft To Do started crashing on me, so I started looking for alternatives.
Since They took over Wunderlist, it's been one bug after the other with Microsoft, last week my entire system on Microsoft crashed with all my companies checklists, so for more than a week I was searching all over the internet for alternatives to ToDo.
I eventually ended up testing software like Todoist, Any.do, Monday.com, Google Tasks, Trello, and others that honestly really didn't achieve what I needed it (design-and speed wise) and were way too expensive. I wanted enough freedom to create folders, subfolders, list, tasks, checklists, and just basic things like giving it separate colors so i could find things easier. I ended up with Trello a bit disappointed, because of the limitations and the fact that my team has trouble understanding it. Every single team we need to onboard clients or team members and spend a while explaining Trello. Which is why I initially went for wunderlist (and Microsoft) because it was self-explanatory.
In comes this Nimbus software this morning in my mailbox, at first I was skeptical, just because I had installed 10+ software trials last week and literally deleted all of them.
I've been using the Nimbus chrome extension for years now, and at first I didn't realize it was the same company. Once I started trialing the software and digging deeper, I realized it was the same team and that pretty much made up my decision.
I always look for stability when buying software like this, so incredibly happy I got this. They literally deliver eveeeerything I was looking for and super frustrated that I couldnt find it in other software AND it's a lifetime deal instead of monthly payments.
Conclusion:
I was skeptical, but within the first hour of trialing the trial version I got convinced. Congrats on creating something that people like me have been craving to use with their clients and teams. And thank you for making it stable and fast as a platform to use.
I literally took the time to write this long review, just because of all the time I spent last week figuring out an alternative to my problem, and here it is right under my nose on Appsumo. Thank you Nimbus, and thank you Appsumo!
