Q: Why is your Roadmap almost empty?

I see several questions where you refer people to your roadmap, but

1. there is ALMOST ZERO information there. Every single item in the roadmap is completely devoid of any description, except for file uploads, which has "PDF , zip file upload" as the complete description.

2. the categories are not very clear. Does "future" mean you've committed to doing it in the future, or is it a backlog of "someday, maybe" items? How is "future" different from "planned"? Everything on the board is for the future, and everything on the board comprises your plans, so those labels are almost meaningless.

3. "Developer API" is listed, but it's not clear what that means (since there is no description). Would this allow us to use API keys for NinjaTools with our editors and other AI tools?

A: Hi there,

Sorry for the confusion—your concern is completely valid. To clarify, while we haven’t yet planned specific features for the future, this is actively under discussion. We’ll prioritize implementing a feature once there’s sufficient demand from users like you.

Regarding the API launch, we’re currently evaluating customer use cases to determine the best approach. If you have specific ideas or feedback to share, we’d love to hear them!
Let me know if you have any other questions—happy to help further.

NinjaTools is nearly useless to me without API access. I need to be able to use it from a tool like BoltAI and from a code editor like Zed—otherwise I'll never use it.

Ideally I want to be able to create different keys for different tools, so that I can see if one tool is using way more credits/tokens. But just having API access in the first place is the priority. No other feature comes close.
