Good now, Maybe great in the future
UPDATE 13June 2025: I'm upgrading my review from three to four tacos. I mentioned that I probably would downgrade from the full stack, but I'm keeping the full stack. If all I use is the chat/chat playground it's worth the LTD, and I do believe the other features will improve. Also, true to Abdulla's word, they recently added the email authentication.
---original review below---
I had high hopes for NinjaTools and really liked the idea of having so many tools in one place. Unfortunately, this fell below my expectations.
PROS:
++ Love being able to query multiple LLMs at once, and that feature worked pretty well. I tested the models by querying them separately outside NinjaTools and running the same query inside, and the results were similar enough that the LLM versions seem fine.
++ Image generation is very good. I'd like an option to tweak an already-generated image rather than having to start from scratch, but the general adherence to prompts seemed all right. (there are better out there, but this wasn't so "off" as to make it to the CONS.
++Video generation using Kling was good. Prompt adherence was above average but the generation time was abhorrent--upwards of 10 mins. When I'm using Kling directly, it's rarely over 4 mins and usually 2-3.
++Prompt library is OK. The grammar checker and text rewriters gave some decent suggestions, albeit not perfect or comprehensive. I'm putting this in the PRO column because AI is, after all, not perfect.
CONS:
- - PDF analyzer and chat. I'm being kind when I say it's worthless. I uploaded a 10K-word document, ask it some questions (including prompting it to look a the entire doc) and it barely skimmed the surface. The answers were very generalized. . .nothing like what I get with docAnalyzer.
- - Lighttricks video production is an epic fail. That may not be within NinjaTools control, but that's kind of irrelevant.
Overall, I think the concept of NinjaTools is great. I got a full-stack, but I'll either refund completely or downgrade to tier 1. I can't see using this nearly as much as I had anticipated.
One other thing: I may be in the minority, but I absolutely *hate* logging into places using my global accounts (such as Google). While it may seem convenient, I don't like having to keep track of third-party access to any account. So, I'd like to see a "login with email" option rather than being forced to use login credentials from another service.

May 28, 2025Hi,
Thank you so much for enjoying our chat playground, as well as the image and video generation features!
Regarding the chat with PDF functionality, we currently have excellent support for PDF files. However, we're committed to enhancing our support for doc files and improving the overall quality of the service.
As for email authentication, we're in the process of implementing it right now. It should be available in the production environment within a few days.
