No-Code Course - This is outdated (already). The training does not match the tools used.
I bought this and was enjoying the No-Code training UNTIL I tried to actively apply the training material for myself.
The tools used in this training, specifically Glide, does not match the training anymore and I don't want to upgrade to a hefty monthly subscription price for the Glide software to sync with the training google sheet sample to learn "no-code" from this tool/training.
There is no option to connect to google sheets without upgrading the GlideApp tool and this renders the reset of this no-code training useless (to me) AND it's a non-refundable course.
ALSO - No Support. I sent a message in and have had zero response. NOTE: It shows in the support bot that the last time they were active, was on 12/10 of 2024, almost a month ago.
"How to bleed money faster" would be a more appropriate name.
Come on Appsumo, do a little further vetting on this stuff, please. You are losing my confidence in your selection of offerings.
Update to this review: Shortly after typing the above review, I opened the Notion Course part of this program training and within two modules it has provided me value. So much so, I'm back typing this update now. I'm not nearly as upset about this as I was. If the training value delivery continues, I'll update my star rating.
BUT, I bought this specifically for the "No-Code Training" aspect, which has disappointed me (so far).
To be fair, I am learning from this program that the tool Notion is a "No-Code" Dev tool also. So the "No-Code" training concepts presented in this university may be applicable regardless of what software tool is used to connect them on the front end.
Truth be told, I’m making an assumption because I’m only 2/3 way through the Notion course, but it’s great! Very thorough and well laid out course(s). It’s not too detailed and Sahil does an excellent job explaining the app’s basic and advanced features. If you’re into Tiago Forte, the Notion course teaches users how to build a ‘second brain.’ If for some reason, the rest of the instruction, falls off a cliff, I’ll revise my review, but I seriously doubt that’s going to happen. I’m looking forward to the Zapier and Airtable modules but feel the Notion course alone is worth every penny at $59. Make is coming, and not sure about Pabbly, but hoping it’s in the offing. Highly recommend if you’re seeking more knowledge on the no-code/low-code front.
