Good if you are starting fresh. Not so good if you have an existing site
Working through the setup of sites and pages is a little bit confusing, but not terrible.
If you are starting from scratch, this may be a good product. The template choices are limited, but functional.
If you have an existing site that you need to port over, look elsewhere. I signed up when this was offered on AppSumo in 2022(?) and discovered that trying to import existing data would get dated with the date of import, not the original date. Not very helpful for existing sites that need to maintain their history.
The help documents and the features don't seem to have changed in the intervening year.
So, I have had to set this aside and look for something else.
Our business runs on google workplace. Nocode is the perfect method to create and publish quick guides for our customers and fans; easy to update and with google docs, I already know how to make the page look like I want.
It removes the barrier of deciding on and editing a webpage template or adding extra styling. Nocode provides basic templates and clear onboarding instructions. I have started using it immediately and can't wait to show my team. The templates include helpful pages like footer, privacy policy etc. Drag and drop widgets give design flexibility without requiring technical skills, so I can focus on the content and serving our customers.
I wrote and published my first page without any problems at all.
This application is very versatile. It supercharges google docs and makes it more robust. With the search function built in, I can use Nocode like a wiki, blog, or make a documentation tool like Gitbook. The search function is what binds all the google docs together and that's what I find is useful with Nocode.
You can make all your google docs into a website with custom domain names. I can share my google docs with my team members and they can edit and be making a webpage without code. It would be great if the Nocode developer could do the same with Notion.so pages. I've used other tools for this, but the Notion URL ID is visible in the code source so it's not very secure. With Nocode, you don't see the google doc URL ID in the code source so it adds a level of security.
