can you give a breakdown of what tier for two apps. is tier one enough ? not sure if one app equals 1 database? also how does API work?

Yes. Each database can work for each app.
When you create a database, you get REST APIs generated for your custom database along with API documentation. You can add these APIs to your front end application to use your database.
We also have MCP which automatically generates and connects your database and UI.
What tier would I need?
You can go with tier 1 and it will work. But please note that there are rate limits and no AI access, and no webhooks or snapshots feature available. So, my recommendation would be to atleast have tier 2 so that you don't miss out on other features (if you need them in future).
