Q: Creating a Landing Page Builder

I have an app idea that includes 'my users' creating/publishing their own landing page for 'their users'. The published l/page to display user defined content on left half of screen, collect data on the right half (responsive for mobile).

Can NCX help me create an app that 'my users' can :
1. drag/drop Heading, Text, Image, Maps, etc. fields onto a canvas for real time view of what 'their users' (published l/page, left half) would look like?
2. publish/unpublish a landing page to a user defined subdomain (subdomain a unique name 'my users' would nominate, domain name(s) I own for my branding purposes)?
3. publish/unpublish l/page on demand (on/off) or a pre-determined schedule?
4. host the published l/page elsewhere (eg. Australia)

And, allows me to dynamically create the right half based on questions I ask 'my users' (and other logic)?

A: Hey Jdee

So essentially you're building a nocode tool in a nocode tool :) I love it!!!

1/ We have no native support for drag & drop at the moment in NoCode-X. This is something that we can consider though. Today you should be able to solve this by using the built-in HTML element which allows you to add plain HTML, css & javascript to your page.
2/ A user defined subdomain can be tricky, I am very willing on investigating together with you how we can make this work. I have done this in NoCode-X (the default domains) but we did not do it this way for the custom domains. But as mentioned happy to explore
3/ Publishing / Unpublish should be a matter of writing that state to your database so thats perfectly possible
4/ Hosting elsewhere can be done if you were to generate some code or what exactly do you mean by this question? Which could be something that we will be able to offer once we offer our own 'extract to code' functionality

Kind regards
Tristan

This is very interesting stuff, guys! I admire Tristan's eager approach, pushing the limits of NoCode-X to infinity and beyond! 🚀
