NoCode-X has received positive feedback for its unmatched security, intuitive drag-and-drop interface, and extensive pre-built functions and integrations. However, some users have mentioned limited documentation and a steep learning curve as areas for improvement. Overall, NoCode-X is a solid choice for those seeking fast track development with a no-code app builder that prioritizes security protocols. Additionally, with a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's worth considering for your development needs.

5 Star No-Code Tool for Dev's and Non-Dev's alike!
NoCode-X has been an impressive tool, significantly reducing the time required to build applications. For developers, it’s an excellent way to enhance productivity and streamline workflows. I highly recommend reviewing their YouTube training materials, it's just like learning any programming language, mastering NoCode-X takes time. However, once you understand the system and its processes, the development experience becomes much more intuitive.
While I would have appreciated a Tier 4 option with 10,000 CPU credits per month, I understand the challenges this could present for the NoCode-X team. Many no-code platforms have come and gone, and we certainly don’t want NoCode-X to be one of them. Given its capabilities and the computing power required, their pricing for additional CPU credits is fair.
Customer support is outstanding -Tristan, the founder, is incredibly responsive and always willing to help.
For non-developers, there may be a slight learning curve, but watching the training videos is the best way to overcome it. For developers, the learning curve is minimal, just watch the videos, as they provide detailed explanations and thorough documentation.

We are atm investigating if we could go for a Tier 4 option & once we know if we can handle this, we will discuss with the appsumo team!

Nocode yes with a steep learning curve
I think this product has legs to succeed but in the future. I believe it is necessary comprehensive documentation and not videos like those on YouTube. To explain what I mean refer to Framer academy. The current use of AI is limited. The platform is no code but I don't find it easy to use at all. Integrations exist but no proper documentation. For example, I enabled Hubspot, but didn't see any follow up, confirmation or what can I do. So I wanted to create a professional app but I can't as it is, that's why they show you toy examples, simple stuff with no decent UI or complexity. I think the team behind the project is professional but the persons presenting the product need presentation skills. I easily get lost on YouTube without agendas, mic issues, etc. Unfortunately I will have to go with a established solution.

Mar 9, 2025Hey Zeroleft!
Thanks for the review. We are looking into the documentation and will double down on improving it soon. Both with regards to the documentation as to the youtube videos. We will be doing much more end-to-end examples where we will be building real applications that are not limited to doing one thing.
We are also working on 2 AI assistants that will lower the learning curve significantly. One for generating pages & one for generating logic, once we have those (which should be in the next 2 weeks) we will have:
1/ Generating database from prompts
2/ Generating data from prompts
3/ Generating Apis from prompts
4/ Generating Pages from prompts
5/ Generating Logic from prompts
This will enable us to take the next step: "Generating applications from prompts" being an overarching AI assistant that gives the other assistants work, which should help you get started much much faster.
Kind regards

Decent tool with a few bugs and a steep learning curve
Let me start off by saying the NoCode-X is among the best no-code tools that I've used. Although I've just spent a few hours playing around with the tool and watching their YouTube videos, I'm already starting to grasp just how powerful this tool already is. If the developer(s) keep on improving the tool, there's really no limit to what you can achieve with this tool.
With that being said, there are 2 reasons for not giving a 5-taco review:
1) The documentation is limited, but I've found the learning curve of the tool to be quite steep (at least for a non-technical person like myself). Their knowledgebase/documentation mostly gives you a high-level understanding of the various things you can do within NoCode-X, but it doesn't provide any insights into the finer details, insider tricks, or practicalities of how to achieve what you want. As for their YouTube, the situation is just slightly better – but even there, the videos are somewhat limited. For example, their "Surviving your first week with NoCode-X" series only has 2 of the 7 videos uploaded. I'd like more and more detailed documentations and tutorials, and I'd also really appreciate guides & tutorials about how to build the fundamentals of various types of apps with NoCode-X.
2) I've also come across a few frustrating bugs and/or UX issues. When creating a template, my NoCode-X editor has gone blank several times, and I couldn't access the elements that I've already put on the screen, nor their settings, and not even the virtual screen itself. Other than that, making a distinction between the selecting tool and the panning tool is just frustrating... I constantly find myself having to manually switch between selecting and panning. For example, I drag the screen to the side to access an element; then I have to switch tools to to actually select it; and when I'm done, I have to switch back to the panning tool again to drag my screen somewhere else. Also, the way the settings tab of the various elements pops up is just weird (to me) – having a fixed sidebar would probably be cleaner and feel a bit nicer UX/UI-wise.
I really hope the dev(s) will consider my feedback for making NoCode-X even better! It seems extremely powerful already, and the roadmap is very promising. I'd say get it while you can – it's one of those rare gems here on AppSumo.

Thanks for these kind words & thanks for purchasing NoCode-X & joining our community!
We are working hard on getting the documentation & the instructional videos to a higher level. We are totally aware that this can be much better. For example surviving the first 7 days is yet to be finished and will be in the coming weeks. We also have some other features coming up that will lower the learning curve such as AI assistants that will generate pages & logic: Perfect for getting live examples of your usecase.
We will investigate the problems you came across during template building & try to fix the bugs. I perfectly understand the fact that switching between the panning & selecting tool is frustrating that's why we added a shortcut to do this: hitting & holding CTRL will switch to the selection tool & switch back to panning when letgo. While hitting & holding SHIFT will switch to the panning tool & switch back to the selection when let go.
Having a fixed sidebar is something that we here a lot & are looking into if we can quickly get this up and running.
We truly value your feedback & will do the best we can to make NoCode-X better! If you ever have any more feedback or you came across quirks do not hesitate to reach out!
Kind regards

A Promising No-Code Platform with Great Potential
I've used quite a few No-code/Low-code platforms before, and I’d say Nocode-X feels pretty similar to Bubble. I spent hours just trying to build a simple two-number addition app, but once I got the hang of it, I found it pretty convenient. There are a lot of built-in functions ready to go, which is great! (Though I’m not entirely sure how flexible it is when it comes to customizations.)
The UX/UI is decent—there were definitely some moments where I got confused or found things a bit unintuitive, but I assume the team is continuously improving it.
One thing I really appreciate is how responsive the development team is. They take feedback seriously and act on it quickly. You can tell that Nocode-X is a well-thought-out product, built by a team that knows what they’re doing and truly understands what users need.
I genuinely believe this product has great potential in the market and could become a strong competitor in the No-code/Low-code space in the near future.
Wishing Nocode-X all the success in the journey ahead! 🚀

Awesome Developer
Tristan takes a real interest in his customers and listens to feedback. He is obviously passionate about NoCode-X. I hope this software takes off, because it has so much potential. As a graphic designer, I feel it would be easier to navigate the software with a more intuitive UI. There is power under the hood. The more techie folks won't be deterred.
