Not What Was Promised to Be Natively Capable
I conducted my due diligence in Appsumo BEFORE purchasing Tier 3, by asking if Noem.AI specifically could be set up as an AI Agent to do the 24/7 automatic event research I need and automatically send info via webhook to a Google Sheet based on parameters I set. I got a response here from "Daniel_Noem AI" (on September 4, 2025) definitively saying the Noem.AI Agent CAN search the internet based on criteria I create then post it to a webhook via Google sheet. So I bought tier 3 - little did I know I would lose six plus hours of my life 48 hours after purchase.
I wasted close to SIX Hours having FAILED chatbot automation set up conversations (with bot named Cassidy) that turned out to be what I feel like were AI hallucination instructions that were NEVER going to work based on what I now know could never be done using Noem.AI's NATIVE technology. How did I discover this? Through human interaction of course. I requested LIVE help which turned out to be a FAILED Noem.AI support bot chat for over an hour that never sent me email invites it kept saying it was sending me for my live support appointment emails (yet another AI hallucination - the support bot can't natively send out emails like this as I now know) just added to my frustration and was insult to injury in dealing with Noem.AI. Keep in mind I still was NOT set-up to use Noem.AI for the reason I purchased it.
I reached out to Yifat on the Noem.AI team who has been active on the review space here. Yifat gave me a Noem Custom Calendly link to use instead (I advised that the support bot be trained to give that link instead of the run around I got with fake email sending. Yifat said would update the support bot - hope I was able to influence that.) Then apparently the meeting link in the Calendly invite emailed me had me waiting at the wrong link for the first appointment for 20 minutes and I had to set up a second meeting. I am a paying Calendly user for 9 years - I don't even know how that got fouled up — but with my bad experiences with Noem.AI at that point it makes sense. ALL OF THESE were worse-case scenario new customer experiences.
What I learned from the Noem.AI engineer in the live support meeting I ultimately had with him is the response from Daniel_Noem.AI here on Appsumo to my research automation question prior to purchase FAILED to mention that I would need to sign up (and potentially purchase based on needs, if free version inadequate) a separate third-party tool called Make.com that would need to be integrated with Noem.AI for my research automation I need to work. So my first interaction with Noem.AI here was 100% misleading prior to my purchase. Note: After reviewing Make.com's offerings, I do not/not need Noem.AI at all for research automation into a webhook Google sheet (which I already have set up) based on parameters I set.
I only bought Noem.AI because I was told it CAN be set-up to provide automation research via Webhook - Google Sheet it's unfortunate that my many hours of trying to work with the custom Cassidy Chat bot would have never worked because it is not trained to give me the steps necessary to execute setting up my AI AGENT because the capability I need does NOT/NOT natively exist in Noem.Ai.
I have been described by IT pros as a "super user" so I am tech savvy, however, I am not a coder or developer just a public relations and marketing executive that dabbles with technology. I seek AI tech that natively works without me adding several third party tools. I am using my Appsumo 60 Day Guarantee to get a refund for my Noem.AI Tier 3 purchase -- Noem.AI told me they are in support of me getting my money back.
I have so many tools that generate blog and social media content already- I don't need another one. I will continue to wait for an Agentic AI tool with native research automation capabilities.
I'm sure there will be one soon.

You are absolutely right - what you were looking for is a native AUTOMATION agent, not a conversational AI chatbot. Noem was designed to be a self-managing chatbot platform that replaces outdated, scripted bots and frees up human teams, not a native “web-scraping + webhook” automation system.
If you were to do it with noem (which you don't need to, because all you're using is automation and not smart Ai), that type of setup requires integration with Make.com or Zapier, which is built in.
That means you don’t need custom code or extra engineering to connect Noem to Google Sheets, CRMs, or thousands of other tools. However, the advanced research-automation use case you were hoping for does require using one of those integration platforms.
I also want to personally thank you for pointing out the support loop with our bot and the Calendly misfire. We’ve updated the support bot since, and we’re actively improving the onboarding experience to prevent situations like this.
While Noem isn’t the right fit for your automation use case, I deeply appreciate that you gave us a shot and shared your journey - your feedback genuinely helps us grow and get better for the customers who do need what Noem does best:
