I can see the use case for my teaching. However, since you are still exploring on adding new features,
1)can you guarantee that incoming features will be given to all tiers?
2)I really hope guests can join without owning an account. A simple auth like using email whitelist provided by room owner? Or maybe an option for guest to join without personalised avatar

Yes, most upcoming features will be included in the AppSumo license updates.
Guest access without account creation is currently in beta testing. It’s working internally, but we don’t have a confirmed public release date yet.
We’re also building a marketplace for maps, characters, and add-ons — a mix of our creations and community-made content.
We’ll share progress updates on our product roadmap and Discord as soon as new features move closer to release.

Hi Krishna, what kind of features are likely to be missing from AppSumo license updates? I think this could be useful for workshops when items are added (where users can get points for completing tasks linked to items (the workshop tasks) and it gives people an incentive to complete these tasks and embed their learning). Are features like this likely to be added and included in updates?

Hi Richard884, Most if not all of the features will be also accessible in AppSumo license. Most of the features will be part of Add-ons marketplace, so you will be able to add, remove subscribe to new add-ons as you see fit. Some will be paid, some will be free, and some will be part of the core foundation.
The feature coming this week - Jukebox (connect your Spotify, place the Jukebox anywhere).
