I have to say that I am very impressed with the initial launch of Notetracks! It is quite a versatile and flexible platform with a variety of uses. It is polished and professional. I use it in several ways for my business:

MIXING AND MASTERING:
As a mixing and mastering engineer, I can upload the latest mix or master for my client to hear and comment on. The commenting feature allows them to mark a point of reference in the song and make a comment. I then will upload a revision and they can compare it with the other versions.

AUDIOBOOKS AND PODCASTS:
I will record (or mix the client's recordings) and edit each chapter. I upload each chapter as an audio file and the client can listen and comment as necessary. As they work through the chapters I am already editing the files based on their comments so that by the time they have reviewed each chapter many have already been revised and uploaded for them to review. This keeps the revision cycle moving quickly making project cycles shorter.

VIDEO PROJECTS:
Often I will work on video promos for artists. The record label may want several audio edits of a new track linked to the same video for a new track promotion cycle. I will upload the video and the various edits so that the artist can solo each one to the same video and comment on the edits. Revisions are uploaded into the same project for review. After the artist is happy we will invite the Label A&R, marketing, Social Media Managers, PR, etc. so they can review the project and make comments or approve the project.
