Q: I did a transcription of a video and used the recommended auto language select and the AI translated everything into the Thai language!!??
The original language of the video is English, but I am currently in Bangkok, Thailand.
Is this a Bug?

Sounds very strange indeed.
We would always recommend to select a language specifically. Usually auto detect selects the language spoken the most in the video.
