That's a great question! You don't need to have a particular programming knowledge to be able to use Nowa. Since you know JS then you have the knowledge of the basic syntax such as using if statements and variables, which all what you need to build logic visually in Nowa (unless if you want to write code inside, then you will need to know flutter, but if you intend to use the visual editors then no need for that ;))

And yes you can use Wordpress API to connect it to your app in Nowa and do data fetching, posting, login, etc. We offer flexible REST API that with it you can perform different types of requests, add headers and body, wait for the response, etc.

You can check our documentation and Youtube tutorials to see how to use it, but pretty soon we will launch a new series of Youtube tutorials that will explain the WordPress case in detail.
