Q: Hi Two questions: 1) Is there a reason for max length of 18 characters for channel names?
I am trying migrate some channels from slack that are longer 🙈
(like "social-media-notifications" -> 26 characters long)
and
2) Is it correct that you api does not support sending a user/username when creating a new message? I have some Pabbly Connection automations where it's a bot that is posting in the channels. Right now it looks like it's only possible to add the message itself, not anything about who created the message.

Is it possible to create messages using the API (and Pabbly Connect in my case) with another user/username than mine (I'm using the api key in my account)?
Thanks.
Hi! Well, let's open the task to see if we can increase it to 26 characters. At the beginning we limited it to 18 for visual consistency, 26 characters does not fit in the left sidebar, you have to put ellipses, but as it is something that more people have asked us, we will work on it.
Here is our API https://noysi.github.io/api-console/ with our API you can do everything, if you are missing some option in Pabbly, they are the ones who have to add it, the integrations with Pabbly are done by them, not us, you just have to ask them to do what you need and they will do it, they are very fast if several people ask for a functionality.
Best regards ;)
