Lack of Push Notifications and Calendar Integrations are Dealbreakers!

First of all, I so wanted this product to be functioning! It would eliminate the need of 2 separate communicator and task management tools.

But alas! both iOs and Android are not supporting push notifications at all (tried in various way without success). Calendar integration is half-baked. You can see created events on your Google calendar but not the created tasks. Major drawback!

@Founder - Please let us know if these 2 are getting fixed soon, or else I'm returning!

Other feature requests and suggestions:

1. Assignee and Assignor Visibility : Currently, when managing tasks within a channel, only the creator's name and image are visible. A feature that displays both the assignee's name and the assignor's name would enhance clarity in task management.

2. Nested Task View : The ability to create a nested task view (larger tasks with sub-tasks) is not supported at this time. Implementing this feature could significantly improve project management by allowing users to break down larger tasks into manageable components.

3. Channel-Agnostic Labels : Users have expressed a need for labels that are not restricted to specific channels. This would eliminate redundancy, as creating the same labels across multiple channels can be cumbersome.

Hi Ray,

I hope you're doing well. I wanted to check if you've been receiving our push notifications.

We have recently released a new Android app to address the issue where push notifications weren't working when the app was completely off. Push notifications should now work when the app is in the background or open. We will be upgrading to another API SDK this week, as we continue to receive reports of push notification issues from some users.

Our team has tested the notifications extensively, and they appear to be working correctly for us and thousands of other users. We are actively working on resolving this problem and appreciate your patience. Please note that push notifications are a free service managed by Google and Apple, and occasional disruptions can happen, as stated in their terms and conditions.

Additionally, please remember when integrating with Google Calendar, to save a channel during the setup process; otherwise, the integration won’t work.

Let me know if you’ve received the mass push notification we sent out today or if you continue to experience any issues. Your feedback is invaluable to us.

Best regards,
