Q: Icebreaker and A/B testing Questions
I would like to get clarification on how Icebreaker and credits work. Do users simply provide an email address, and then Nureply matches that email with LinkedIn accounts and scrapes any website listed in the bio for information to create the icebreaker? Or do we need to provide the website and LinkedIn account information for each email address so the AI can scrape these sources and generate the icebreaker email? What happens if there is no LinkedIn account or website to be found.
How does Nureply know the messaging or sales pitch we want to include in the icebreaker email? Does the user supply this information through a prompt?
How does the A/B testing work? What variables are being tested, since the AI is creating the email(no input from user)? Is this for the non- AI icebreaker emails?

Jun 12, 2025A: How Icebreakers Work:
You provide an email address along with either:
A LinkedIn URL, OR
A company website URL, OR
Both
NuReply will ingest whichever data source(s) you provide to gather personalization information.
When No Data is Provided:
If you don't provide either a LinkedIn URL or website URL, then the system can't generate AI-powered personalized icebreakers for that contact. You'd be limited to generic templates without the personalized elements.
Data Sources for Personalization:
LinkedIn URL: Job title, company info, recent posts, experience, etc.
Website URL: Company information, services, news, about page content, etc.
Both: Combines personal LinkedIn data with company website data for richer personalization
Your Sales Pitch/Messaging:
You create templates with your core messaging, value proposition, and call-to-action. The AI then weaves the personalized elements from the LinkedIn profile and/or website data into your template.
So the workflow is: you provide email + LinkedIn URL and/or website URL → AI parses the provided sources → generates personalized icebreaker using your template + ingested data.
