It's ok but needs improvements
- Location filtering needed, ie, United States only
- Limited platforms, this would be great if it actually scraped other platforms. Right now it's very limited. I can only do so much with LInkedin and Reddit.
This may work on topics constantly talked about. Mine was property management and the alerts were far and few in between. If I could keep an eye on a website like BiggerPockets or any other website using only the sites URL, that would be awesome and I know it can be done with Puppeteer and IP address rotator like Bright Data... but so be it. It was headed in the right direction, but not right for my needs.

Nov 11, 2024Hi Cientiros! Thanks a lot for your feedback. We will work on adding more platforms, next to Linkedin and Reddit we have X, Hacker News, YouTube, DEV, Stack Overflow, and GitHub already live. We are working also on forums and newsletters at the moment.
As for geotargeting, I totally get the need - we will need to check if we can implement this at some point, it would be very cool!
Again, thanks for the feedback and testing out Octolens, I really appreciate it.
Best,
Charlotte
