Q: I was very excited to see this deal here as I'd been previously looking into Unscreen TV.
(As a startup, for comparability Unscreen TV has included bandwidth & storage. With .50cents per subscriber. $49/mnth. Incl. Licensing. Community feature. Live. No white-label. No apps.)
I would like to support you, but would like to learn more about your business:
1. I saw your examples online with trailers are there any view charges for those?
2. Stated above: Includes White-labeling. "A: It is very unlikely that they will know about Odeum at all!" Then you add, "* There is a small "powered by Odeum" graphic on the account page of our branded sites and apps.
* Credit card statements may show the Odeum name — this will depend on the credit card company."
"The “publisher” of the app in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store is listed as Odeum (but we think hardly anyone notices this)."
Why is the publisher listed as Odeum when you state above that "For each developer platform (Apple, Google Play, etc.), you must create and maintain your own developer account"?
Well, this doesn't sound like it is. If it is white-labeled I'm expecting there to be NO branding visible anywhere. Not an assumption that no one will notice it.
Trying to visualize. Will you make a note to show us the location of these on your webinar on the 26th?
3. Reading your other replies I gather you are not planning on creating a community (as Unscreen has) or adding Live Chat to your upcoming Live Broadcasting update. Correct? (this is not a deal breaker for me, but more curiosity. I prefer the simple TV model.)
4. You mentioned several platforms, but I didn't see Smart TV. Is this included too?
6. I like the idea of security. For example, you reach this many subscribers.. this much is charged. You reach more subscribers that much is charged.
or add another option above: for 1 Channel somewhere between 25 to 50 hrs for a higher price.
7. Can someone purchase a gift card for subscriptions?
8. Will all new future Odeum updates be included in this deal?
Thank you in advance for your time!

May 15, 2024A: Thanks for your questions.
1. No, our publishers can have trailers and a free playlist on the home page, etc. We know you need to use video to sell your video service, so that’s expected. We only charge based on your active subscribers
2. Oh my. You found some very old copy that got put on the site by mistake and we have just removed it. We do NOT publish under Odeum in the app stores. We publish under your developer accounts. I’ll definitely walk through this in the webinar.
3. We don’t intend to add social features inside the website and apps that our platform creates. However, we believe that for a “live” feature to have value, there needs to be some interactivity. So we are planning for a light “Q&A” feature for that, but not a social chat - more a “submit a question” type of flow.
4. Many smart TVs are powered by Android or Roku and we support those. We do not currently support WebOS.
5. Where’d #5 go? :)
6. Appreciate the feedback for sure.
7. We do not have gift cards.
8. All future updates provided to the Odeum Pro Plan will be included. And at this time we have no plans for any plan above that, but we do offer Enterprise integrations and those are completely separate.
