For personal use, this is a good solution. I hope the quality of the premium voices in Mexican Spanish improves.
In general, for the price, and for personal use, it is the best TTS LTD solution I have bought until now.
I would not use it for commercial purposes or for dubbing YouTube videos. For that purpose, I would look for other super expensive solutions better suited for such needs.
Said that, I put 5 stars for the relation of value/price/limits/quality of voices.
There are many features to improve, but it does very good job.
I don't like other reviews that put 4 or fewer stars. We are talking about a cheap LTD with good enough features and very good voices.
If you want a super professional TTS with supernatural voices and features, go and pay for it hundreds of dollars per month in other places.
For me, this is a great solution for my personal needs. Hope it does not close, hope it does nor reduce available voices.
I have used several expensive and cheap solutions by 20 years, from the TTS first technologies. I honestly, am happy with ODIO.ai
I select emails, articles or blogs, and make them audible for the car. So I am "reading" while I am driving.
Voices are not robotic.
Note: For dubbing and commercial videos or podcasts you need expressions. Expressions are only included in very (very) expensive solutions, and you need an audio editor making adjustments every second with specialized pitch and cadence morph plugins.
This is done for a natgeo or a history channel documentary dubbing.
For movies, real actors are used because there is no technology to get all the needed voice expressions to get good results.
Do not look for a magic TTS to make it all alone at once. Does not exist yet.
