I feel deeply disappointed and deceived by the Odio app. When I initially purchased the lifetime deal through AppSumo, Odio promised unlimited usage—a commitment that was clearly stated at the time of purchase. However, they have now arbitrarily changed their terms, reducing the usage limit to 100,000 characters, without any prior notice or explanation.

This abrupt and unilateral change is not only unethical but also shows a complete disregard for their customers. To make matters worse, they have provided no compensation or refund for this downgrade in service. This feels like a blatant bait-and-switch tactic, and it’s incredibly frustrating for those of us who trusted their promises.

This experience also raises concerns about AppSumo's role in protecting their users. While AppSumo has helped many discover useful tools and deals, it appears they do not provide adequate safeguards for customers in situations like this. AppSumo needs to hold its partners accountable to their commitments; otherwise, users are left vulnerable to such unfair practices.

I strongly urge everyone to exercise caution when purchasing deals through AppSumo—or with any third-party partners—because there seems to be little recourse if things go wrong. Always remember to carefully evaluate the credibility of both the app and the platform before making transactions.
