Why do I have to sign up for an Office Suite Trial so I can edit documents? I find it offensive after paying for a lifetime license as below. I already paid for the MobiPDF 1 year which I understood as an extra upcharge. Even offered to pay the difference between the 1 year and Lifetime which the office suite folks declined. No problem I bought the lifetime version from another vendor which cost less!
This not how customers are to be treated!
Thanks,

Wow! I've finally activated my key after purchasing this deal on Black Friday and trying it on Windows and Mac computers. What can I say? It's one of the best purchases I've made on AppSumo. The family plan allows the creation of up to 6 accounts and use of the apps across different devices. This deal is huge. The app's interface is very similar to MS Office. I am very happy with my purchase! Many people simply missed this short-lived opportunity. If it ever returns to AppSumo, I'll purchase some extra codes. However, even with one code, it's already future-proof as it covers all my family members with the single one-time purchase. Currently they only support "Word" and "Excell" on Mac but going to add other apps later on. I am looking forward to it as I am moving from Windows to Mac OS. Thank you MobiSystems and AppSumo!
Microsoft is going overboard with pushing us towards cloud usage. Free solutions, such as Apache or LibreOffice, have a dated-looking user interface.
OfficeSuite has a modern appearance and functions wonderfully. Offering six seats is quite generous. The CSV handling in OfficeSuite is much better than in Excel. I frequently work with CSV files, and Excel is overly complicated in comparison.
I am surprised this has not been reviewed (and sold?) more.
Initial impressions are solid.
The deal is excellent. You get what initially seems like a slick and robust suite of Office programs. I have been using MS Office 2013 for ages, and this seems better than that, at the very least.
But you also get 50GB storage per user, which is really useful.
This is not just for saving documents to the cloud. You can put any file in it and sync, like Dropbox. With 180 days of backups, too.
Tested it briefly and it worked well.
I also don't seem to have any issues registering on more than one PC. I have registered the same account on 2 PCs (specifically 1 laptop and 1 MS Surface) and 1 Android phone. This counts as 3 devices under 1 user in my account.
So I am not sure where the apparent 1 PC limit comes from. It's possibly because the SM Surface screen size makes it class as a mobile device, being under 13"? I am not sure.
The one weird thing is, with the Android apps, it says you have to pay for a font bundle license to get default, standard fonts. This is really weird. Luckily, there are other apps that can be used. But this is a very strange limit to have in place.
Anyway, as an MS Office alternative with lifetime updates and 50GB storage x 6 people, this is a really good deal.
